During the summer of 2019, I worked as a creative design intern at Aaptiv, an audio fitness app headquartered in New York. I created various digital assets and designed a new style of collection cards for all of the in-app graphics.

Collection Card Redesign

In the process of a rebrand, Aaptiv wanted to establish teal, cobalt, navy, yellow,  and orange as its new brand colors. I proposed a design for their collection cards that incorporated various tones of the new color scheme in a fun and dynamic way.   The designs were implemented at the beginning of August!

In addition to redesigning the current collection cards in-app, I applied the style to new collections organized into "Music," "Movement," and "Mood." Here is a small sample of the various cards I designed.

Social Media

I carried the new collection card design style to Pinterest pins. Since Aaptiv's Instagram is a bit more experimental and has historically included lots of gradients, I continued this tradition with the new brand colors.

I also applied experimental gradients to Aaptiv's Spotify covers for its various playlists. These specific graphics were used for the summer, fall, and winter of 2019.

New Employee Guide Book

I also designed a Guide Book for New Employees. Before this, new employees would simply receive a google doc filled with text. I added illustration and signature brand elements for a more personal welcome. Here are a few selected pages from the Guide Book.
